Architecture in an Agile Organization

Welcome to the “Architecture in an Agile Organization” book preview web site. Early chapter drafts will be made available on this site for comment by interested community members. The book started out of some ideas, presentations, and experiences in my career that had important learnings people seemed to get value from hearing about. I was asked by a publisher if I had interest in turning a conference session into a book and now the book is on its way.

Initial plans that were shared with the publisher included a chapter layout. After difficulties in writing to the flow of that initial layout and then identifying another layout which also hindered the writing I finally decided not to force the chapter layout too early in the process. Over time a chapter layout will emerge and I will post this updated emergence on a Table of Contents page for the site.

I look forward to hearing people’s comments on the book, specific chapters, and anything surrounding the subject “Architecture in an Agile Organization”. Thank you.
